The Satellite Show 2025: Architecture + Water
PS³
Architecture at Queen’s University Belfast
Ends 28 June 2025
We’re delighted to be working once more with our Belfast 2024 pals OGU Architects, on this presentation of QUB Architecture work on the theme of Architecture + Water.
About the exhibition:
This satellite Summer Show features work from all stages and studios at QUB Architecture 2025, demonstrating the variety of approaches to water that were explored this year. The single topic elucidates the variety of approaches to design within the school and brings some of these into a new conversation with each other
Furniture is made from upcycled studio waste materials and second-hand water barrels. A 1:250 model of a city-centre stretch of the Lagan - made by students - sits in the centre of the shop-front gallery space. Materials used to construct this exhibition - water barrels, plywood frames, timber dowels - are re-used and recycled and will continue to be reused by Architecture at Queen's in future projects.
It is the first full exhibition in our new PS3 space, and has been beautifully brought together by Rachel O’Grady from OGU/QUB, with the support of dedicated and talented students Meg, Maram and Yulei. Huge congratulations to all involved! We’re so inspired by your vision.
