VOTE FOR US ON 29 JUNE!
Irish for Artists
Eimear Nic Roibeaird
We’re taking part in the Bank of Ideas! Come support us at the Voting Day in Belfast City Hall on Sunday 29th June, any time between 2pm and 5pm.
💚ABOUT OUR PROJECT:
We’re planning an ‘Irish for Artists’ workshops series, festival pop-ups, online pronunciation guide and limited edition print run, working with artist, Irish speaker and bean iontach Eimear Nic Roibeaird.
Our project will help artists in the North of Ireland to learn something new, build opportunities for creative collaboration, and deepen cultural partnerships (only 14 months ‘til the the Fleadh, weans!).
Through these workshops, we’re inviting artists and creatives - from different disciplines and locations across the city - to tell us what you really want to be able to say as Gaeilge. We’ll translate it and then get it online, so we can all learn together 🫶
We’ll be leaning into the craic and the specificity of arts sector jargon to produce a glossary that is both informative and irreverent! 🤓💁♀️
💚HOW TO VOTE:
You’ll have multiple votes to give out, the decision making is in the hands of the people to choose which creative ideas will come to life in our city.
It’s a family-friendly day out, there’ll be lots of entertainment as well as the incredible stalls of ideas and kids can vote too, so bring everyone along.
